What you’ll do
Join Elfed Selman and Jeremy Brown from our library team for an interactive workshop about how to discover and use the maps in our collections. The workshop will help you think about maps differently and maybe inspire you to use them in your own projects.
You'll learn more about some of the maps we hold, and participate in activities such as map storytelling and life mapping. You’ll also learn about the practical aspects of using our collections, including how to find and order items using the online catalogue.
The workshop is open to all levels and backgrounds, and especially useful if you are at the beginning of your research journey or new to Wellcome Collection.
Unique and vulnerable items will be on display at the workshop, so please leave pens, coats, bags and other personal belongings in the cloakroom on the ground floor. You may bring laptops, notebooks and pencils to take notes.
